July 3, 2003. At long last, I finally have a front and back for this sweater.

They are the same size, I just had trouble getting them to lay flat without rolling, and there was also a nice breeze in the hallway, so I was more concerned with just getting a picture before the sweater pieces blew away. I'm so excited at the thought of finally having this sweater to wear sometime this year.

October 23, 2002. Here's the back as it is now:

I really love the wide ribbing on the bottom (k5, p3). I've got about another 10 cm to go on the back. Yes, this sweater is taking forever, but the Rowan Wool Cotton is so much fun to knit with that I don't mind.

August 6, 2002. I've done the ribbing for the back of the sweater, and am ready to start on the stockinette part. I love love love this Rowan Wool Cotton. I think I'd be happy to knit every single project in this from now on. It's soft, substantial, and beautiful. Of course, since it's 5.5 stitches to the inch, I might feel differently at the end of this project (which could, realistically, be next year).

July 31, 2002. My new project is Rowan "Jack" from Rowan Magazine #30. It's in Rowan Wool Cotton in Deepest Olive. Just started swatching.
